Standalone launcher on Unity

In order to use it was easier for you to customize Separate Launcher. We made a special example that works in unity.

You can change the appearance of the launcher by editing the "SeparateLauncher" scene as you like.

To create a launcher, follow these steps:

  • Create new unity project
  • Import the SGPatcher to that project
  • Add only SeparateLauncher scene to Build Settings

  • Build game

In this simple launcher the game is loaded to Application.dataPath. 


Windows/Linux

  1. Open your game project
  2. Go to SGPatcher window(Unity). Select tab ”Versions”.
  3. Create at least one version of the game.
  4. Push button ”Save Configuration” save patcher.config file to <Your Game>_Data folder (If you see message dialog click "Yes").

OSX

  1. Open your game project
  2. Go to SGPatcher window(Unity). Select tab ”Versions”.
  3. Create at least one version of the game.
  4. Push button ”Save Configuration” save patcher.config file to any folder (If you see message dialog click "Yes"). 
  5. Go to Contents of your separate application.

Localization

If you want to use localization (multilingual), follow the instructions.
